When are practices and tournaments?
11-year-olds and under will participate once a week and participate in 4-5 tournaments

12u -18u will practice twice a week and participate in 5-6 tournaments.

Practices will be held in Blair and begin in December through March. Tournaments will start in January and run through March.  Dates will vary with each team but are typically held on Sundays and occasional Saturdays.  Tournaments begin at 8:00 am and conclude around 3:00 pm. Most tournaments are in the Omaha/Metro and Lincoln areas.

Can I play multiple sports?
We get asked this a lot. Being in a small town we understand that kids are in multiple sports/activities, and we encourage it. Your coach will work with you on your schedule, however, coaches plan practices around how many girls are at practices so please inform coaches of conflicts. Players will not be punished for missing if they have an excused absence (another activity or illness) but obviously, those attending all practices will gain that advantage from continuous instruction which could affect playing time.

How Much are Club Fees?
Our club fees this season are the same as the previous seasons: $600 for 12u-18u and $300 for ages 11 under. ($350 if you want/need a ball and bag)  Club fees cover practice shirts, uniforms, practice facility fees, tournament fees, insurance, equipment, admin, and coaching fees. An initial deposit of $300 for ages 12u-18u and $150 for 11 & under is due at sign-ups in October.  The second payment, a post-dated check for November for the remainder, is also due at sign-up.  The entire fee can also be paid at sign-ups.  Please make checks out to Mary Policky.  If it is difficult to make two payments, I will work with the parents, but if all fees are not paid by the negotiated time, they will only be able to participate once they have been paid.

12u-18u players are responsible for paying their registration fee to the Great Plains Region, which is required to play. This can be done at www.gpvb.org. Last season, we were able to offer a short-season rate of a $35 fee, separate from the club fee and required by the Region to participate.
